Glazed and speckled terracotta hippopotamus
Charming piece produced by hand, it will be as pretty as it is useful. In addition to being decorative, this statue can be used as a paperweight or bookend.
In good general condition, it has no chips, gaps or cracks. The inscriptions below are quite illegible but we can guess a production date: 9-92 for September 1992.
Approximate dimensions: height to ears 8 cm, length 14 cm and width 8 cm.
